GLENS FALLS – The Adirondack Junior Thunder announced today that the team has re-signed goaltender Andy Buser for the 2023-24 Eastern Hockey League Premier season.

Buser, 20, returns to Adirondack for his second season with the Jr Thunder. The South Glens Falls native played nine games in the 2022-23 season, finishing with a 6-2-0 record and a .890 save percentage. He logged the team’s first shutout on March 5, as Adirondack took down the Union Jr. Thunder 6-0 to round out the 22-23 EHLP regular season.

Andy currently works as a deckhand and bartender for Waterfront Cruises in Lake George, and will be returning to work at Cool Insuring Arena this year as a zamboni driver. He is attending trade school in pursuit of a career welding, and in the meantime hopes to play hockey for as long as he can.

The Adirondack Junior Thunder begin their second season in the Eastern Hockey League Premier on Friday, September 15 as they take on the New Jersey 87’s at 7pm.
