GLENS FALLS – The Adirondack Junior Thunder get a chance at payback on Saturday, September 23rd as they take on the New Hampshire Avalanche at 7 P.M.

Adirondack are coming off of a four-point weekend against the defending Eastern Hockey League Premier champions, the New Jersey 87’s. They sit atop the New England Division with four points and a 2-1-0 record. New Hampshire went winless in their first week of play, dropping all three games this past week to Worcester, Valley and New England, respectively.

The Junior Thunder are led by Cole Davidson (3-5-8, 3 GP), Kyler Leboutillier (4-2-6, 3 GP) and Mack Ryan (3-2-5, 3 GP). Davidson and Leboutilliuer earned first star and honorable mention honors, respectively, in the New England Division last week by the EHLP.

The Avalanche are led by Hunter Atkinson (3-1-4, 2 GP), Frederick Chagnon (2-1-3, 2 GP) and Brady Thompson (2-1-3, 3 GP).

New Hampshire three goaltenders combine for a GAA of 6.67, while the Junior Thunder’s Andy Buser and AJ Murphy combine for a 4.44 GAA.

Adirondack  are 3-3-1 all-time against New Hampshire, including regular season and playoffs. These two teams faced off in the first round of the 2023 EHL Premier playoffs, where the Avalanche took down the division-winning Junior Thunder in two games.

New Hampshire followed that series by defeating the New England Wolves in three games to advance to the EHLP Frozen Final, where they fell to eventual champions, the New Jersey 87’s.
